Is the Titanium Always Pan Pro non-toxic?

Yes, always. We’ve made our products without PFAS (otherwise known as Forever Chemicals) since day one. The vast majority of nonstick pans on the market are still made with PFAS (even that “hybrid” pan). Because of our proprietary technology, we were able to achieve the same effect without a coating and without using PFAS.

Q: How does the NoCo® nonstick technology work?

This technology is the very first of its kind, setting a new standard in cookware. It uses ultra-durable titanium to create an interior surface that is virtually indestructible. Mimicking the Lotus Effect (the phenomenon of water droplets forming on leaves, rather than being absorbed), the pattern pressed into the titanium makes the interior naturally hydrophobic, which in turn creates a nonstick effect. The surface simultaneously sears (really well, we might add), while the sunken pockets create airflow and a nonstick experience.

Q: How is the Titanium Always Pan® Pro different from the ceramic nonstick Always Pan?

The original Always Pan has a ceramic nonstick coating that is ultra slippery. The Titanium Always Pan Pro doesn’t have a coating; the pressed interior surface is what gives it a nonstick effect. A key difference between cooking with our NoCo® technology versus ceramic nonstick is that food needs to cook through and self-release to achieve the full nonstick effect. It’s pretty genius, actually! Once the food has had sufficient contact with the heat, it will release itself to let you know it's ready to be flipped or plated.

Care & Use

Cooking

Each time you cook, gently preheat the pan over low-to-medium heat and coat the interior with a little oil or fat to activate the NoCo® nonstick technology.
The pan is heat and oven safe up to 535°C (Gold: 400°C), for chef-level searing, browning, caramelization, and stovetop-to-oven cooking.
Your food will naturally release from the interior when properly cooked through. If it’s still sticking, just give it a little more time or decrease the temperature. Always use oil or fat.
Safe for use with metal, wood, or silicone utensils.
Use caution! Handles and knobs may get hot during stovetop use or in the oven. Use heat protection when handling hot cookware.

Daily Maintenance

Dishwasher safe. Unlike traditional nonstick cookware, our Titanium Pro cookware can safely go through the dishwasher.
Hand wash with a bristle brush and mild soap, scrubbing between micro-dots when cleaning to remove buildup.
Use a soft sponge on the exterior to maintain stainless steel finish and to avoid scratches. To remove fingerprints, apply a little white vinegar and buff with a soft cloth.
To maintain nonstick performance, rub 1 teaspoon of neutral oil over the interior after cleaning and before storage — or any time food begins to stick.
Note: Always allow your pots and pans to fully cool before cleaning. Avoid any extreme temperature changes.

Keep It Like New

To remove food buildup, stubborn residue, or oil stains, make a paste of baking soda and vinegar and scrub the interior. Or simply deglaze on the stovetop with boiling water and a few tablespoons of baking soda.
Cosmetic marks may develop over time without affecting cooking performance.

For a Deeper Clean

Boil 1 cup water, 1 cup baking soda, and 1 cup vinegar for 5 minutes.
Scrub with a bristle brush and rinse.
Dry completely.
Rub a thin layer of oil over the surface, heat on medium for 5 minutes, then let cool and wipe off any excess and store.
Repeat as needed to restore nonstick performance.
