Peach and Mint Granita

What You'll Need

Ingredients

  • 4 peaches, peel and chopped into small pieces
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 of mint, chopped

Directions

Step 1

Add peaches, sugar, salt, and lemon juice to the carafe of a blender. Add in a 1/2 cup of cold water and blend till smooth. Stir the chopped mint into the peach puree.

Step 2

Pour peach puree into a baking dish and place in the freezer.

Step 3

Every 30 minutes, run a fork through the puree. After 2 to 3 hours the ice should be fluffy.

Step 4

Serve in a chilled glass or bowl. Garnish with mint and other berries.
